I've posted previously about Monsanto, and how it is ONE of the most EVIL corporations (corporatist) in the world. More and more information is coming to light regarding the evil they have already done and now, about their partner in crime and accomplice, the FDA.
I've also posted information about FDA and how it's a "bribe for approval" organization, owned and operated by our government. Yep, the fox guarding the hen house.

Monsanto’s Toxic and Mutated World – Is Sugar Safe to Eat?
It should come as no surprise when a Monsanto product poisons the earth and our food. Our planet has never recovered from the forty-year Monsanto-led PCB contamination that was banned in the U.S. in 1977. To this day environmental PCBs continue to degrade into highly toxic furans and dioxins, wreaking all manner of human health problem. The new case in point involves several aspects: 1) the bizarre alteration of the nature of food itself by splicing viral, bacterial, and other life forms into the DNA of food (GMO seeds and crops), and 2) the massive increase in the use of glyphosate pesticide (Round Up), which is polluting the water, soil, and food across the globe. Both issues are extremely problematic to human health.
Meanwhile, Monsanto is attempting damage control during the second growing season of this genetic monstrosity masquerading as food. The judge hasn’t banned the current year’s crop or the sale of Halloween candy which is now full of GMO sugar.
Of course, GMO sugar, like other GMO “foods,” doesn’t need to be labeled as such (because nobody in their right mind would buy it if it were). Half the refined sugar in the U.S. is from beets – and insiders say the industry has quickly converted to the GMO Frankenfood beets, estimating up to 95% of farmers are now using them.
Only the biotech industry and its financially-associated friends believe GMO Frankenfoods are safe to eat. The despicable management at the FDA approved them, while squashing and hiding from public view the numerous safety objections of their scientific staff. Common sense will tell virtually anyone that having foreign organism DNA spliced into the essence of food is an atrocity.

I used to love Monsanto,
before they started patenting seeds and adding genes from viruses and bacteria to our food crops

Besides, the overuse of chemical pesticides and fertilizers has changed the whole face of agriculture.

DNA is extracted and transferred to the new plant in a couple of ways...through the use of a gene gun. This gene gun actually uses a .22 caliber shell to implant the DNA into the plant. The other way is through the use of Agrobacterium to transfer the gene. I am by no means an expert on that, but i believe it is less harmful to the plant then the gene gun. By the way, Monsanto and other companies are working on a GM crop that reduces the use of fertilizers...due out in a few years.

Sadly, Monsanto has convinced several states (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and others) to make it ILLEGAL to label food as being either GMO or rBGH free.
The only times that I have ever envisioned myself becoming a suicide bomber is if I had the opportunity to stroll into Monsanto's corporate headquarters with about 100 pounds of cyclotrimethylene trinitramine (C-4) strapped on.

Illinois has had so much rain, they farmers can't harvest the corn and soybeans. Better stock up! Could experience massive shortages...
Utah, Idaho and Wyoming were the major beat sugar producers so they soon went out of business. There is no longer a sugar industry in the Mountain West except for sorghum and corn. Corn was subsidized because there were more Midwest Farmers growing corn than sugar beats. It may be that gov is paying people to not grow beats.. but I haven't done recent research.
Monsanto, I'll bet they get huge crop subsidies, at least enough to pay for Good lobbyists and congress critters.
THEY are killing us and our country from the inside out and bringing in the globalists from the outside in!!

And, Roundup, which, regardless of what they say, stays in the ground and is found in the fresh vegetables we grow and eat. EVIL!!!

You can spray your garded with Roundup (to get rid of wheeds) but that chemical still ends in your produce.

I work at Monsanto. Here is a link. It comes from Monsanto website. I know you may be skeptical because of that, but they are not allowed to post non-truths per their legal team. While the sugar does not contain the genes from the plant, that is not true for corn and beans. However, that doesnt mean it is dangerous for you.

Years ago, the farmer rotated their crops -COW- Corn, then next year, Oats, then came Wheat. One crop would take one thing out of the ground while putting some other trace mineral back in the ground, thus the nutritional content of these grains was huge and the minerals in the soil were not depleted.
I know the hybrid seeds increased the yield, however, farmers then stopped crop rotation and now our foods we eat are severely lacking in those trace minerals. Cumulative effect.
I worked in healthcare for over ten years and when I left, I was so relieved as I no longer had to repeat the company mantra. It does take it's tole.
We knew what we knew and we were not allowed to tell it...

Buy your meat from a local butcher too; same with cheese. We don't know where the grocery stores or Walmart get their meat, and remember, it IS legal to butcher horses, for meat, in Canada - how do we know where that meat ends up? In China - me thinks' NOT.
One of the first things the Democrat Majority did in 2007 was start a process that should vastly reduce the Monsanto Monopoly on agricultural patents. a new division of government has just been approved that will fund major research into agricultural advancements. Similar to the NIH research branch the new division will provide universities with the funding necessary to develop better, and safer ways to produce food and fiber from plants.
