My company, Dandelion Studios, has plans to release three new fantasy comic book titles in 2010. Among these is Stone, the story of a warrior woman who fights to save a small nation from the grip of tyranny.
You might be wondering, since Donna Stone claims to be a warrior, can she, you know, fight?
In this scene, Laurel has been wondering the same thing. So Laurel decides to hold back and see how Donna handles herself against some would-be bounty hunters that the heroines encounter.
As you can see, Donna seems to be doing pretty well so far.
Stone is written by myself with art by Tara Veidt and digital shading by Vincent Veidt. If you enjoy heroic fantasy epics with strong female characters, I hope you'll give Stone a look when the first issue of the comic is released next year.
