I read The Glass Castle, and I read the NYT review of Half Broke Horses. Sounds excellent.

I too read The Glass Castle and will never look at photographs of "poor Appalachians" the same way. I plan to read Glass's new book, but don't know if I can stand another neglectful parenting biography.

Let me join the club here- I too have read Glass Castle. It's amazing reading that book that Jeanette grew into a functioning adult. I am going to read it, not listen, I am not an audio person.
