The final games of the baseball season are upon us.
The competitors in the 2009 World Series were finalized Sunday night when the New York Yankees defeated the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 5-2 in Game 6 of the ALCS, clinching thier 40th AL pennant. They'll match up against the National League representative, the defending champion Philadelphia Phillies.
The 2009 World Series Schedule has been released by Major League Baseball. All of the games will be televised on FOX. Personally, I'd like to see some afternoon games set up to give the World Series more of an old-time feel. But business is business and the networks want the maximum viewership. Here are the dates and the start times for this year's Fall Classic:
2009 World Series Schedule Philadelphia Phillies vs. New York Yankees
Game 1: Wednesday, Oct. 28, 7:57 p.m. at Yankee Stadium
Game 2: Thursday, Oct. 29, 7:57 p.m. at Yankee Stadium
Game 3: Saturday, Oct. 31, 7:57 p.m. at Citizens Bank Park
Game 4: Sunday, Nov. 1, 8:20 p.m. at Citizens Bank Park
Game 5: Monday, Nov. 2, 7:57 p.m. at Citizens Bank Park (if necessary)
Game 6: Wednesday, Nov. 4, 7:57 p.m. at Yankee Stadium (if necessary)

So who takes the title of the best team in baseball this year?
