I used my Amazon gift cards that I have earned from Gather & Swagbucks:

I paid $4.99 for this Wii!

I could have waited until I redeemed another gift card, but this is not scheduled to ship until November as it is. Hubby & I discussed and decided to go ahead and get it ordered, I was afraid since they dropped the price that it might get back ordered and I want to allow plenty of time since this is a Christmas gift for the Grandkids.

I will also be able to get another game for them since I got this so freaking cheap! There is a Carnival game one..I think that is what I am getting.

My daughter bought a wii and she paid quite a bit for it. I'm going to have to tell her to check Amazon. You seem to have gotten a wonderful deal. Congrats. The grandkids will be tickled.

Great job, got the Wii myself for the kids. You got a good deal. The price drop is suppose to stay in affect from all that I have heard but you never know with Christmas just around the corner. I have had my stowed away for a couple weeks now afraid to wait on it and not be able to get it. I just have to get a few games for it now. Got the Wii fit for myself, lol.

That is fabulous. We paid $299 at least 2 years ago now. The same package. My son adores his Wii. You will love it. I've played bowling on it and also Wii Music and it is so much fun.

Good for you that you got it for so little. I am going to do something similar. I am saving the gift cards so I can get Wii Fit before Chanukah.

LOL I love your exuberance Netty, I am an amazon-a-holic and know the joy of nabbing that great deal.

I just got my grandkids a really nice telescope, Zoo Tycoon PC game and an Electronic Monopoly Game for Christmas from Club Bing - also a pet bed for my dogs, a steam iron for my mom and a B&D food processor for my son and DIL's housewarming gifts. If you don't belong to club bing and like to play games you should check them out, they have some nice stuff.
