Peace At What Price?

Recently, Mr. Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize.  Personally, I have not figured out why he won the award because I haven’t heard of any major disputes he has resolved or even any significant effort working toward peace.  All I’ve heard is a lot of rhetoric and apologies for things he has no business apologizing for.  I’m not saying our country is perfect by any means but for the President of this nation to apologize for past mistakes or what he perceives as past mistakes is deplorable.  Many of the countries he’s apologized to have committed much greater atrocities than this country and you don’t hear their leaders apologizing.

What Mr. Obama has done is to make our country appear weak in the eyes of third world countries.  He’s making this nation and what it has stood for and what men and women have fought and died for a joke!  A lot of these countries no longer see our country as any sort of threat.  They see us as wimps, which can be deadly.

The really scary part of all of Mr. Obama’s negotiations is that he’s negotiating with people who would slit any of our throats in a moment’s time if they were given a chance.  You cannot negotiate peace with terrorists.  They have a different way of thinking and they are using Mr. Obama’s naiveté or stupidity (whichever it is) to lull us into a false sense of security.  If they can get us off our guard, they can infiltrate our country and do even more damage than the terrorist attacks of 9/11.

The people of this country had better wake up and realize that this is not the answer and temporary peace at the cost of possibly thousands upon thousands of lives in the next attack on our nation, is not the right path to take.
