Scarecrows in the Garden

The weather this morning was so nice that we decided to spend part of the day at the Atlanta Botanical Garden enjoying their "Scarecrows in the Garden" display.   They had some cool scarecrows and they had a lot of them. 

The following scarecrows are the ones we saw our first thirty minutes at the garden.  All are neat little works of art created by a different group or business and put on display in the gardens.

 

 I'd love to have this metal sculpture for my garden!

Isn't she fun!

 

Made from aluminum cans.

Made from scrap computer hardware.

She is a beauty!

Simple yet clever.

"Will work for food" 

S'mores anyone?

One of my favorites.

I'd love to have this for my yard!

Cool exhibit and nice shots. Did you join the ABG yet?

Brookgreen had a scarecrow making contest and I have a photo essay to put up tomorrow on it. Not as elaborate as some of these, but they were made by attendees on site.

Yep. $65 for a dual membership and we walked right in. Got it in my name only so I can take anyone I want as my guest.

I liked her a lot also. I may have to try and make something similar for my garden, it would be neat with vines growing on it and through it.
