It's Been A While

It has been a while since I've been on Gather. I had to go back to work (I work in a school library) and it is hard to believe that 1st quarter is now done. I've been so busy with work and my kids activities. My daughter is on the dance team at school, so I've had her performances to go watch.  My son went out for football, so I have had his games to go to.  He played tight end and did score some touchdowns.  His coaches had good things to say about him.

My daughter is a junior in high school this year and before school started she took a CLEP test in Biology and passed it so, according to the web site, she now has 6 semester hours of Biology college credit without having to take the course.  She is going to take the CLEP test in government next.  She is taking a dual credit Sociology course right now, so she will begin college with 15 semester hours of coursework (unless she passes more CLEP tests and earns more credit.)

Our school has had the H1N1 virus going through it.  The county health department came to school and vaccinated students with consent forms this week.  Teachers got to get the vaccine as well, so my kids and I shouldn't get it. I hope everyone else has managed to stay well.
