Ever since my youngest was little he has been the collector of many things. Stuffed Dog animals, trucks, starwars memorabilia, all sports types cards, rocks, pogs, pokemon cards, beanie babies. The thing that I enjoy doing the most with him is collecting sea glass and shells for every beach that we go to. We have bags and bags of different catches from various places that I hope to one day make into frameable window boxes for him or me.
When I was growing up, I collected stamps because my grandfather use to give them to me. I also collected hummels for many years. I have a huge collection of antique kitchen items. I love old ephemera.
do you collect anything or do your children collect anything? i'd love to hear. please list all collections separate.

Excellent pastel. Your artwork is excellent. My mother, MIL, and daughter are excellent artists. My sisters, too. I am only a B artist, and focus most of my effort on writing, rather than piano or drawing/painting.

as a kid, i collected barbie dolls & barbie clothes & barbie cars & barbie houses. :)
We used to collect African art, but that's been put on hold for now.
there are so many collections that i've started through the years. my favorite is old family photographs along with vintage frames to put them in. the house (especially the family room) is filled with photos. :)
I love black and whites. i like the vintage frame idea.
I also collect books - although I try to read them and pass them on.
I seem to have quite a collection of clothing and books also.
Also collect Hallmark Ornaments and have a huge collection and might put up a photo this year of some of them.
Have collected state quarters and still looking for P Quarters.
I love the ornaments they are adorable.

ps. i love first edition books, the paper that it was printed on is just as beautiful as the text within.
"Can I have that nail?", says son.
"What do you want with that nail?, says neighbor.
"I collect nails", says son.
"You're pulling my leg", says neighbor.
"On no. The only leg I pull is Dads", says son.
We laughed about this for a long time. You should have seen the look on my neighbor's face. I watched the whole thing from the kitchen window and my neighbor knew it.

kids collect magic cards, model cars, and dirty clothes(lol)
i think all kids collect dirty clothes.. my son likes to display them as the ocean on his floor. lol
my brother collected stamps
my sister collected minature bottles of liquor (personally, i would not allow my child 2 do this)
