As far as weeks go, this week was one of the most phenomenal of my life. Can't say why just yet, but soon I'll tell you all about it. From the perspective of my diet and exercise program, this week was mediocre at best. I'd really hoped to hit that 40 pound milestone this week, but nope. I missed two days of exercise and consumed chicken nuggets and sausage. Yeah, not healthy, but I'm still plodding along at a snail's weightloss pace. Still losing. Slower than I'd like to, but I'm still on track to meet my goal of 50 pounds lost by January. Had a fabulous, 5 mile long walk through town and around a lake on Monday. It was 71 degrees and sunny. I don't think I'll see another day like that until next May. I still don't like the treadmill, but I gotta do what I gotta do.
Week of October 18th - 24th:
Weight Loss: 1.4 pounds
Miles walked: 18
Total calories consumed: ~8,170
Calories burned via exercise: ~2,000
Year-to-date weight loss: 39.4 pounds
Soooo close to 40 lost, but no cigar. I'll definitely get there this week. I'm starting to like what I see in the mirror.
