President Obama earned the presidency by being an excellent politician and plugging into the hopes and aspirations of the American people's desire for systemic change. The people wanted our nation to go into another direction diametrically opposed to the dark days of President George W.s Bush's misrule. Obama's actions exhibit much less change than many hoped. In short, those who voted Obama have been Hope-a-Doped.

If WE want change, the kind of change he will lead and enact WE must motivate OUR elected officials to get off the corporate teat vote in the interests of change. Despite the claims and filth of his detractors, he is NOT God, nor has he ever attempted to be. All he has done is laid out a potential vision of what we CAN be. It is up to us to make it so.
