Today's search resulted in:

The Wikipedia.org page for Noir Désir   A rock band in France

According to Wikipedia they were the most successful rock band in France in the 1990s and the early 2000s.  

The official Web site for Noir Désir   is in French and I don't read French. 

 I did look them up on YouTube and found several videos by this band.  I may not understand the words but they I like the music.
