Tricky Titles

How often have you been tricked into reading a post because of the title only to find that the title had little to do with the post?

I'll admit, I love to play with how I word my titles and apparently others feel deceived by my play on words. So from now on, so pathetic but I will PLASTER whether or not my posts are adult themed, etc. in their future titles, just so those out there will no longer be confused or unknowingly subjected to my crude or sexual questions or posts.


  • What I REALLY WANT TO KNOW is how many other ppl out in gatherland have to warn readers about what they are about to read?
  • How many of you are blasted for your sexual questions?
  • Does anyone else ask about the sexual things I do? IF so, I want a link to their site so I can answer and view all that naughtiness!!!!

I've never asked any sexual questions, but don't have a problem answering any of yours. My titles pretty much go with the post. I'm one of those boring people. LOL!!! ; )

I also do not post any sexually themed articles or questions. If I did it would probably turn out to be more slapstick comedy than sexual in nature.

As far as titles are concerned, sometimes I will play around with them a bit. Yours are always captivating.

I read a far amount of flagged post.
I enjoy most of your post, only one really kinda changed my mood dark.
I should not read you when you are upset, before I go to work....but thats my problem and I know that now.

Scott is a GREAT photographer and not all his work is nudes.
He does some fantastic portrait photos too.
But he sure has an eye for the female body!!!!

I wish I could come up with creative sort of deceptive titles to trick...I mean draw more people into my posts.
I knew a few people who would post adult type questions but they have slacked off lately. I am not sure anyone asks questions quite the way you do.

Once in a while I warn readers about my content, usually about language or sexual content on a review of a book or movie I do.

I think my mind is rated G for general audience. I remember when I was about 30 when I saw a therapist she was shocked to find out that I never undress people in my mind...when I look at them nor do I wonder what they look like under their clothes....I was surprised to learn people did this. Like I said, my mind is rated G.

I don't tend to write adult themed articles. I guess I would get more comments if I did, but it's like crying during an argument....It ends arguments but I never think to do it on purpose... :)

Hey - you changed your pic again while I was gone! You do seem to be good at attention-grabbing titles. You should be a press writer. "Tricky titles" is exactly what they do - not to be intentionally tricky, but because they haven't the least idea what the book is about! Had me tearing my hair out until I finally appreciated what a unique and remarkable talent this is. Like you, the press writer has to come up with dozens of high-impact phrases every day. It's the author's job to make them apply to the story.

Entrapment by Title is the way to get views. Who cares if they actually read the post or comment.
