CHRIS BROWN vs. OPRAH

Chris Brown recently commented he was upset that during his ordeal with Rihanna, Oprah had not called him since he felt they had a relationship that warrented a phone call if she were concerned about his behavior.

Instead on her show, Oprah addressed women saying, "If you go back with a man who hits you, it's because you don't think you're worthy of being with a man who won't. I've said before love doesn't hurt, and if a man hits you once, he will hit you again."

Brown took that as a jab at him. My question for Brown is does he think Rihanna felt her relationship with him warrented getting beaten?

Furthermore, Oprah has no obligations to Brown, she has a responsibility to her audience, which she fulfilled.

Brown is acting like a whinny remorseless brat.

SO DO YOU THINK OPRAH HAD A OBLIGATION TO CONTACT BROWN DIRECTLY BEFORE SAYING WHAT SHE DID ON AIR?

I think that he should have no right to be angry at her. She had no reason to call him and she has a right to her opinion. She must've been pissed off at him so that is why she didn't call. I think he is an idiot and if he hit Rhianna he will most likely hit his next girl friend and then on and on and on with all the women he is in relationships with. He needs help!

Oprah has no obligation to him or anybody. She has a right to say what she said. A man who hits a woman is a coward and would do it again. He has an ego problem and i dont think he can get anywhere with it unless he admits it and seek help.

He should be ashamed of himself and working on his problems instead of getting angry at Oprah. I do not understand his logic of thinking Oprah should have called him. He should be worried about fixing relationships. To me it says he still has unresolved issues with women.

Oprah didn't directly point a finger at him so why did she have to clear it with him first? Oprah has done shows like this in the past. He needs to just grow up! I am not a big Oprah fan but I do applaud her for trying to make women realize that abuse in a relationship is not the normal and that getting out is best.

Not at all. If a man hits you once, he will hit you again is a very true statement in my opinion , and Oprah has a right to her opinion.

NOPE and knowing that it makes me like oprah even more! i'm glad she didn't go console him after what he did. there is no excuse for physical abuse in any relationship and that jerk needs to learn his lesson!
