Oh my gosh! I am glad he is alright. I can't believe he facebooked that to you. Although I remember when I called mom to tell her I got in a car accident and her screaming at me I just remember saying, "Mom I have just had a very bad experience I don't need you yelling at me too." So I think back then if I could have facebooked it to her I would have just to avoid getting lectured. Don't be too hard him, well maybe about the Facebooking, but not the accident.

Isn't that crazy! I found out about my brother's engagement a few months ago via myspace. I was a little upset. Technology!

I'm glad he didn't get hurt in the accident.My son would stay on FB 24-7 if I let him. He also has a Myspace to, teenagers are something .I tell ya . My son is 14. I dread when he starts driving .

Okay the Facebook thing is disturbing - yikes! I do have a question though....How does one car get "plowed into" from behind and have not a scratch? ;)

I've seen some things on Facebook about my kids that I'd rather not see, but they're over 18, and I have to let go...it's hard to be a parent these days!

First thin, glad your son wasn't hurt. I raised 4 sons, they all had minor first wrecks and did not exchange information... in spite of instructions to do so. Had to laugh, maybe it's in the testosterone. One said he forgot, the other two felt sorry for the other driver... Ho hum...

I did have to chuckle at the remembrance. Face book notification WOW, that's even funnier.

LOL - yeah, now that a few days have passed... it is pretty funny.

For me, several years, but then when there's a big family get together you can tell all and give him a big thunk on the noggin!

Teenagers don't always think rationally. Get used to it! I remember all the bizarre things my girls did, but thankfully they both turned out OK.

Oy! If that had been me, what a tongue lashing I would've gotten from my parents! Glad the kid is okay, though.

I'm glad he's OK, tho'...and my daughter just got her learner's permit (shivers!)

OOOOh hell no.....I am glad he is ok,,but YOU should have been the first person he called (then the police)....I would take his keys to teach him a lesson but then again, thats just me.

How scary. I've been rear ended by people and hit in the front too, weird drivers out there not looking and say they didn't see me, of course if they don't look.
Always a good idea to get the name and info of the person and call the cops. A person can seem fine at the time and later have severe back and neck problems. I was fine after one wreck I was in except for a concussion, two black eyes and my legs were all messed up-torn ligaments. The doc told me my neck was messed up too and I'd have arthritis in it when I got older. My neck wasn't bothering me at all......not at the time, but years down the road it really hurts. Then the summer before last we got rear ended with my kids in the back seat. I called the cops, we got the info, there was lots of damage and I got my kids into the doctor and they had mild whiplash. Cleared up in a couple weeks but the doc said to watch for more problems.
