Amber Alert Canceled For 17-Year Old Kansas Girl

The missing Marion County girl that was issued an Amber Alert Wednesday, Oct. 21, has been found in Hiawatha, Kan.

Tara Renee Simihiser, 17, of Marion County was dropped off at the Morrill and Janes Bank at about 11:25 a.m. She appeared scared, but unharmed. Protective custody currently has Simhiser says Brown County Sherriff John Merchant.

Hiawatha Police picked up the suspect, 21-year-old Rojelio Hernandez driving around in a blue Honda Accord.
