Att: Person in charge of Gather changes

I always want to post certain articles to certain groups, how ever certain groups have those very point less ~squiggles~, .dots., <triangles>, *stars*, and my very favorite

~~...<*>*a ridiculous amount of each on both sides of the title*<*>...~~

And when I type the name of the group in the find box it only finds it if it starts with the word i type. I think you should make it find all groups with that word in the whole name. I try to remember what group has what silly little thing in front of it, but I never can.

OR hey everyone with a group like this remove that junk to make my life easier:) that would be great. Thanks. Let me know if there is anything I could do to help any of you!

Oh and btw I do love these groups, I just dont love searching for the rite one to post to.

I agree!!! I'm sure when some of those groups were created, they put the squigglies in front of the names because they would come before the rest. But now that we have the ability to search for groups like we do, those squigglies are not necessary. They need to get rid of them!

They do it so that they are one of the first to appear alphabetically in the group lists. Characters come before letters. It's very annoying because those characters have nothing to do with the group names!!
