We're in our new house!

I am busily unpacking and quite tired (of course I had to get sick right now!) but we're loving it here! The kids are really enjoying the huge space in the basement which we've made their playroom and they LOVE the tree fort in the back. I have my kitchen in order and am working on the rest of the house. It should be mostly done by this weekend. My husband gets home tomorrow night and we're going to go to the pumpkin patch Saturday and then carve pumpkins to put on our new front porch. Just wanted to update you all! I'll be more active here once the dust settles.

Congratulations on your new home Lacey. That is really exciting. I would love to have a basement turned into a playroom and a fort in the back. Sounds like an awesome place for the kids.

That's great! All the remodeling and redecorating in our house is supposed to be done by Halloween or at least by Thanksgiving. I want to be able to decorate a little for the holidays this year. It depends when I have my knee replacement surgery though.
