WASHINGTON - Former Vice President Dick Cheney on Wednesday night accused the White House of "dithering" over the strategy for the war in Afghanistan and urged President Barack Obama to "do what it takes to win."

Emanuel told CNN on Sunday that the decision regarding what to do in Afghanistan is more complex than whether to send more troops.
"When you go through all the analysis, it's clear that basically we had a war for eight years that was going on, that's adrift, that we're beginning at scratch, and just from the starting point, after eight years," Emanuel said.

All this coming from the individual who outright lied about the dangers of Iraq and weapons of Mass destruction. This is the individual who promoted decreasing the actual force applied in Afghanistan against those who really did attack America and sent the bulk of our War machine to invade and occupy a country that did not threaten our National Security.
The Bush/Cheney administration maintained the barest minimum of troop levels in Afghanistan and allowed the current situation to fester and increase in threat level.
He is a frickin chicken hawk who refused to serve this Nation when his fellow countrymen were being drafted, saying he had other priorities and manipulated deferment after deferment. Now he wants to send our Sons and Daughters to War without a plan to win?
Dick Cheney, please just shut up and go away.

War-mongering Cheney would have this country occupied by foreign troops who would be sent to protect investments in his war machine demands upon our outsourced demand for weapons and paid combatants to maintain his wars.
