About a month ago, a friend in my building called me and told me to come up to her room immediately. When I got there, I discovered that she'd rescued a kitten from someone who abandoned the little one when they moved out. The boyfriend of the woman who moved wanted to take her back so I agreed to keep her for two days. Well, by the end of the second day, I hadn't heard from him and I couldn't leave the kitten in the carrier any longer because it would be cruel. Also, after finding out that the man is into drugs and might sell the kitten for the money to buy drugs, I just couldn't consider giving her back to him.
So, little by little, I introduced her to my group and within three or four days, she was only staying in the carrier at night when I was asleep and she could hold her own with my grown up babies. She is very bold and aggressive and would attack any of the big cats even though they were about ten times her size.
At first, I was calling her "Little Bit" because she was a "little bit" but that just didn't seem right for a name for when she grew up so I started thinking about other names and finally started calling her Shilee (short for Shiloh from the Bible that means salvation). Since she'd been saved from the awful woman who abandoned her, I sort of thought it fit her.
She's very cute and will be a gorgeous cat. She's mostly white with a dark grey/black back and dark grey/black on her head with a white streak in the middle and pink ears. She has gold eyes with sort of a rust colored trim, which is unusual. In fact, I thought her eyes were dirty until I looked closer and discovered the rust trim.
She has loads of energy and loves to play with Mercy, though Gracie is still a bit jealous of her. Since Mercy and Grace were malnourished when they were small, they don't have a lot of strength to jump very high in their back legs and Shilee can already out run and out jump them both at the age of roughly 3 months.
Believe it or not, Mercy and Grace just turned one year old and are such sweet babies. Mercy still has a balance problem but it doesn't seem to stop him from doing anything. Every time he falls over, he just shakes himself and gets up and goes again. He's a very tough little boy. I'm so glad I took him and his sister when I did because he probably would have died then or he and Gracie might have been taken away by Animal Control that took most of their older siblings away a couple of months ago. I'm so glad I got them when I did. I wish I could have saved more of the cats in that room.
My problem is that I'd love to save every animal out there that needs saving. I'm sure going to try to save as many as I can.

Here there are thousands of such kittens, one can not give them away!! So when you said selling it kinda made me lol!
Not uncommon for people to have over 20 cats!
We could set you up with as many cats as you can handle :0)
The hoarders out there are now getting in trouble, so I hope your count is within reason?
Thanks so much for sharing with my group.
