Drowning Poseidon

So, I'm Jeff and I hit the 'ol drums. Josh does the vocals and guitar and Chad slaps the bass. Chad gets the credit for our name, Drowning Poseidon. He's the most recent addition to the band. Josh and I have been making music for about eight years now. We've gone through several band names and several bass players. Right now things are looking really good. We're trying to tighten up our sound and gain exposure. We're all married with day jobs so it's a little tough. We'd love to find someone that we could pay to promote us! Until then, we'll keep doing it the hard way.

You need the vocalist mike turned up more. The drums and bass are drowning him out.

That was nice of you. It's a shame to have a great voice drowned out by the music. The music should back up and highlight the voice.

I used to listen to this Genre when I was younger. Try to get your manager or promoter to hook you up with Turnkey Productions. They put on Jazz and Blues Festivals all over the Caribbean. Great exposure.

The percussionist is great!!! The vocalist is being drowned out, so this needs to be remixed.

Oh, there is a cultural event being planned for the night of July 31 to the early morning of August 2, 2010. One night will be a musical concert. Your manager could call the Jamaica National Heritage Trust (876 922 1287) to see if they will consider including your group.

Darren, wanted you to know I read the post ...but man, I'm on sloooow dial-up and don't even dare try to watch videos and stuff. But I'm glad you are being so kind to these struggling musicians. ( And if you've read my ping by now--- from the first line ( before I actually read the post) ... I mistakenly thought YOU were a drummer. Sorry. ) Also, thanks SO much for the friend request. Very gladly granted.
And yes, I've had folks in the past who tried to record my music outside a true studio--and the band would just drown out my vocals so badly.
Now we've just got to wonder WHY Dennis doesn't want you to use his name ??? ( lol --- Dennis is a great guy who I'm also proud to have on my friend's list .) Respectfully, Lonnie

I love and have seen these guys several times seeing as I am a local Portland music lover, and they have progress so much as a band throughout the years. Their timing is on, and the sound is cleaner. Mr. Jeff Bader is doing stuff with the drums that most major and popular drummers wish they could be doing.

Their cover of forty-six & 2 is perfect. If any one is in the Portland area look for these guys playing.
