At the opening of the new Tiger Woods-designed The Cliffs at High Carolina golf course in Ashville, North Carolina, Tiger hit his first two ceremonial first drives into the trees. He then challenged anyone in the crowd to try to outdrive him.
Cool as a cucumber, 12-year-old Mark Benevento, Jr. grabbed a club and sent two drives each 200 yards down the middle of the fairway.
I can't even drive when my buddies are standing next to me. I'd be lucky to reach the ladies' tee with the best golfer in history standing right behind me. I don't know if they'll be ready to hand this kid a PGA tour card before he gets to high school, but he's got some serious balls of steel to even attempt it.
