The kids have always made gifts to give out, in the past we have done gifts in a jar. This year they are going to make chocolate covered marshmallows, oreos and spoons. We will then wrap them in clear plastic and pretty ribbon and put them into coffee mugs that I got on clearance last year for a quarter a piece!

I shop sales and clearance all year long - so my Christmas shopping is done EXCEPT for those gifts that the kids are asking Santa for!

i shop all year long and find little things and have them in a box.. no one ever goes without!

My boy gets a couple of books he's been wanting. My parents never accept gifts from me, but I'll probably pick them up a restaurant gift card from Wal-Mart anyway. My sister and her husband get a gift card, probably to Wal-Mart or maybe to Target. :)

I don't buy for the adults in my family much anymore. We all focus on the kids. I do buy for a few friends.

I get for a few of the girls here at work, and of course for our immediate family. I try to send my son a gift card to Walmart. But it's the little ones I am mainly concerned about. $'s are tight so I'm not sure what Santa will be able to afford......

We don't do much shopping besides immediate family anyway. I've taken care of my parents, my little sister (the only one of my siblings I buy for--she's an adult, but she and Elliott are super close so of course he wants to get her something) and my nieces. We've also already bought Elliott a bunch of stuff, although there will probably be at least one more present from us. I also still need to buy Santa presents, but that will have to happen while Elliott isn't with me, which never happens.

I actually finished one of my little cousins Christmas and birthday shopping today (her birthday is the 1st of December). I actually started my mom's presents today. I'll be buying gifts for my mother, father, brother, and baby cousins. Gift cards or home made gifts for other family.

We don't really buy for the adults, and we decided this year, that instead of buying for each other, buy one nice thing for the two of us to share that we both want--we're thinking about the wii! :)

For our boys, we're about done with Elliott. I have to decide what's birthday (since it's a few weeks before Christmas) and what's Christmas--as well as seperating what's from us and what will be Santa gifts.

Emory on the other hand--he has everything handed down from big brother, and he will only be 4 months old, so he's a little harder. I have a few small things put back, and I know one thing that Santa is getting him, but I'm still brainstorming for educational toys for when he's a little older.

Since we lost two close family members earlier this year, we are completely changing our Christmas tradition and are going on a 5 day/night cruise! No Christmas presents this year, as the cruise is our family gift.......I have my shopping all done for the few friends I'll be sending gifts.
