The Blue Apology

I would like to start by apologizing

Wondering what was keeping you away

You keep on justifying

The thousand reasons you gave

I was wandering around the blue house

Heard a sound coming through

It was either a bird or a mouse

Nevermind, less or few

I stood behind a blue tree

Still wondering if it was me

Memories keep on coming

Believing and unknowing

All I am thinking of apologizing

I sometimes wish I was more into understanding poetry. I know the blue is probably the most meaningful color in the spectrum. Film makers, poets, nature, etc has their applications. Thanks for posting. Now I have something to haunt my thoughts all day. lol

The feeling of blue is normally a sign of sadness or regret or gloom in writing isn't it?

I love the color blue, but it fits the poem beautifully. (And my kids loved the song "I'm blue," long long ago.)
