Bethenny Frankel Pregnant with Fiance Jason Hoppy's Child

Real Housewives of NYC star Bethenny Frankel is pregnant with her finace Jason Hoppy's child. The great news leaked today and Frankel confirmed it in a statement posted on the internet. The reality TV star is only in her first trimester and still nervous about the health of her unborn child as she's past the recommended child-bearing age (Frankel is 38 years old).

In her statement to People magazine, she said "It's premature to be telling people this. It's not like, 'Did I get Botox?' It's not the way I wanted it to get out," she added. "I haven't even gone through my first trimester. We haven't even heard the heartbeat. My (fiance's) parents didn't even know. ... I am praying everything is OK, but I don't know that yet."

The news is really flying for Ms. Frankel this week. She just announced her big engagement to Jason Hoppy yesterday. At least she's making the announcements in order.

I say a big CONGRATS to Bethenny and Jason. My favorite RH crew is the NYC ladies and I was rooting for her both seasons. She's definitely my favorite on that series. And she's always funny, as anyone who watched the show knows, so it should come as no surprise that she tried to make a joke of her age and now being pregnant.

According to perezhilton.com, she said "I'm no spring chicken. I didn't think it was going to happen right away. Because of my age, sometimes we weren't totally careful," said the hag. "I got to be honest, we are both feeling kind of proud of ourselves. We are both 38 and we were like, 'Listen, your fish can swim and I am fertile.' So that's exciting."

Did she go over the top? Probably but it's Bethenny! CONGRATULATIONS!
