Looks like one of the Big Brother contestants is in a bit of a hot water this morning. The man that appeared on the 9th season of the series, eventually winning that season's competition has been busted on drug charges. As it turns out, the man started selling drugs following his win. That is how he used his $500,000 winnings in fact. He went into the oxycodone business!
Yes, every reality star dreams of making it big after their stint on whatever reality series they seem to make it on, and this isn't the first time one of them has landed in trouble with the law or in jail. Jasinski was busted in Pennsylvania by an undercover police office. When the man pulled out a bag of pills from his pants, he was immediately taken into custody.
Jasinski says he had literally sold thousands of pills since he started in the business after his win. However, it looks like anything he might do over the next twenty years might end up being from behind bars. Having already confessed to the crime, the man is looking to spend up to the next twenty years behind bar with the chance of being charged up to a million dollars in fines.
The arrest apparently happened over the weekend on Saturday, but news of it just came to light Tuesday morning following his confession. Here you can see his mug shot and below a video interview he did during his time on Big Brother.
What do you think? How quick they rise and how hard they fall.
UPDATE 10/24/09: This story is still developing. Jasinski was set for a hearing on these charges on Friday October 23rd, but that has now been postponed til next Friday, October 30th. Apparently, he was caught while trying to sell 2,000 pills of Oxycodone. He was officially charged with the crime on October 21st. As more becomes available, I'll keep you posted here!
