Update on Fancy!

Hi! This is Sandra H. writing this post because Fancy asked me to write it for her. 

Fancy is having a really rough time with this round of chemo.  She is extremely tired and has very little energy.  She is having problems with her legs and is not able to get around well at all.  She was walking in her kitchen last Thursday evening and her legs gave out and she fell.  She had a glass in her hand when she fell and the glass broke and her head hit part of the broken glass and she ended up at the hospital getting 9 stitiches in the back of her head.

She also now has two puppies that she is fostering for the vet.  The new one is named 'Zeus' and he is Oscar's brother.  She calls them "the boys"!  I talked with her this morning and she said "the boys" are both doing well, eating good and starting to put on some weight.  They are keeping them all busy but Sammi, Mark and Fancy are really enjoying having them there!

Fancy will be going for some tests on Friday to see how the chemo is working.  The end of this round of chemo depends on the test results.  If the chemo is working well, it will end on October 31.  If it's not working as well as expected, it will go longer.

Fancy asked me to let everyone know that she is doing some viewing when she can but just doesn't have the energy to comment or even post anything right now.  She is a very strong person and I am just amazed at her attitude and her strength.  She inspires me every time I speak with her!

Please keep her in your prayers that the chemo is working and will end soon!

Thanks so much for the update on Fancy! Please tell her that she's in my thoughts and prayers.....that chemo is really wicked stuff; she's such a strong, strong person.....I truly hope and pray she won't have to go through any more of it!
Also, please tell her that I miss her a lot here on Gather and think about her lots, as well.
I really appreciate your taking the time to post the update, as I've been very worried about Fancy!

Fancy is in my prayers. She truly is a very strong person and a very compassionate woman. Who would deal with animals while suffering all the chemo and the rest of the stuff? Hi fancy! I will keep you in my prayers! you can do it ! my aunt just had her last round of chemo for breast cancer and I know how scary it can be....my moms best friend has been cancer free for several years, so to let you know there is hope! make sure to drink grape juice for antioxidents thats what mrs kelly said(my moms friend) God bless you!

I'm in your corner, Fancy, and pulling for Sammi and Mark to come through this, too. I know you're going through some very deep stuff. If doing it will knock the crap out of the bad cells and keep them that way, you'll appreciate the benefit for the draw on your strength...please keep that positive thought in mind, angel.
