Missing In Action

Thursday evening when I got home, I discovered my phone was out of service, which meant my DSL was also out of service.  I called the automated repair line and the earliest appointment I could get was this morning.  When I got home Friday, I found out that the reason my phone was out of service is because some idiot decided to break into the phone box and cut the wires to many of the phones in the building.

Fortunately, since I live in a motel, I have a house phone and they didn't cut that one.  I still couldn't use the internet but at least I could call out.  They finally fixed the phone this morning and I'm back online, which I'm very grateful for.  Since I don't have TV these days, I depend on the internet for weather reports and the news and keeping up with all my family and friends.

The other drawback to being offline is that I have online businesses and I had no way of checking for possible business.  Basically, I'm very happy to be back online and able to communicate with everyone.
