i see colors,
monochrome colors
when you call my name.
three hours,
and you looked at me,
and didn't say a word,
but silence is not empty.
silence speaks in colors.
so we spoke with our eyes
and saw the words
with the eyes of our minds,
left eye to right eye.
and the wind played the blues
for a soundtrack to our
wordless, monochrome-colored
conversation, and the sun was
a display of colorless colors.
i hear symphonies,
silent symphonies when you
look at me like that.
it's there in the absence of words
and the presence of colors.
it is the sound of silence.

Like you, my mind tends to view such things mono-cromaticaly
Where were you all this time?
Congratulations on passing the bar exams. My dad was a lawyer also.
Nice poem. Speaks of your talent and i really hope you will hone it very well and not be sidetracked by the issues of life!
