I have been here a very short while only to be sad at the HELL going on here. Their is no power struggle for any rights. You believe in GOD or you do not. You are Gay or you are not . You write well and you do not. You want points for money or you want points for money .
I , Korak will not single out one group over another but all classifications of all who dwell in Gather . Let me start with the GOD loving people here of what I see and not what I judge. If one or Christ showed up to sign in at GATHER ......
I find God loving people trying to push GOD or their beliefs down non-believers throats. Hey, everyone has their own personal relationship with GOD. GOD knows all . He will work on these people not you. You can try but if you do more damage then are you messing with GOD's flow .
I first came in here finding one writer totally dogging GOD in a very bad way. I went off on that person freaking out on the content. We went at each other with finger nails clawing one another .Only to stop saying would Christ act this way. I stopped not looking at the content but on how well she wrote. She has talent with great mechanics to write. It made me think of Paul,Saul a Roman Officer that killed many christians. Murder in our time is wrong but he killed many , many were GOD loving people. GOD did not see a killer he saw a soldier . I saw a writer that may do great things in the name of GOD . GOD does most the work anyway. We all have lives , some good and some bad. Some of us had bad parents , child molestation and so on. When one writes , they tend to write what they know or have lived. Read with open eyes beside your hearts to see who that person really is . If one is Gay either born that way or something traggic happened in their lives then this is who they want to be. If born in that way of thinking , you will not change them so stop . I wish that I could save the world but we can NOT, GOD can though ! So put your good energy to a better product. If they are damaged goods leave them be, you are only pushing them farther away from any help .
If you praise your boss every day for ten years ,everytime you see him. Then one day you do something wrong , stealing some copper. Then you are fired . Do you think that he remembers you for those praises or you stealing one time. You go praise our Lord all Mighty for ten years and then push one lost soul away. Which do you think he will remember ?
I have a good friend in that one girl who is gay and dogs my GOD . I have another friend here who does not believe in GOD . Eventhough he is looking for a chance to believe in GOD. I do not push my belief only to be supportive of his writing and so with the gay girl. The two are great people but we do not know there toils in life..back off and love them for who they are. We all change with time in life and we do know GOD moves in mysterious ways.
I belong to a church ,GOD club here with only members only allowed. WHAT ! I have never walked up to a church on a sunday morning to find the front doors chained . Let the bad people in so what if they say this or that. Delete the threads.....easy fix.
You non-believers in GOD quit messing with GOD loving people here. YOU want hell walk out your front door because this world needs to be stirred up. If the GOD loving people would just smile at your stupid remarks ,will you go screw with somone else .
SOME OF US COME HERE FOR A BREAK FROM OUR LIVES SO STOP THIS CRAP...NON-BELIEVERS !
We all have a few things in common , god people, non GOD people,gay,non gay, political people.......
we own computers BUT WE ALSO LOVE TO WRITE !
That is our common ground . If you do not like the write then comment , do not visit and leave. Show respect to all. So my friend because I know my fan base has shrunk.

I met someone who left gather but has just returned...do we really know the damage we do to others . BE NICE !

The two men walked through many fields taking hours to find themselves beside a forest . The man asked ;'' Is this where I find Jesus ? ''
The other man said ,no to walk into the thick brush and trees making the other follow.
Many hours passed with them facing a large mountain . The man asked again;'' Is this where I meet Jesus ?''
The man said no again to start climbing the huge mountain. So the other man followed.
After a few more hours the man grabbed his ankle saying; '' I can not go on any farther !''
The other replied ;'' Now you are ready to meet Jesus !''
So it is when we can not go on any farther on our own is when GOD comes into our lives........SO PLEASE LEAVE THEM BE ! Let GOD do his job...and you bad people leave us alone !

people here flagging someone's work because they find it offensive but not by the whole group....people judging people...Church group closing doors on everyone but members......so much hell behind the scene.
I live with hell every day....thought i found peace.

I am strong now in the FLOW..I feel it . I have even commenting with the others saying , you gave me goose bumps because I knew something they did mot say writing....well ,I am prepared to fast...pray for me.
Renee ,Barbara ,sandy and so much more have given me so much love. I know that their are writes.poems,short stories that can make one cry. I have cried from the loving words of you all here...I do thank you.
Sadly some people do not know the meaning of those words. We are all different and should be celebrating those differences and learning from them but instead so many feel the need to attack others for the beliefs and opinions they hold. If I am interested enough in a post to read it I always try to find something positive to say even if I disagree with what is said. I do state my opinion but do it respectfully. If the post is one that is overly hostile sometimes I find it best to just move on to another.
I know that I am the one you mentioned earlier - the one who doesn't share your belief in god. However, you and I got that out of the way very early on. Now we can both concentrate on making a difference. Please remember though, that those who do not share your beliefs have to go through their own trials and tribulations, just like you!
But we are writers! Writing is what binds us together, not a belief in god, and not a disbelief in god. It is writing, my friend!

I carry a bigger stick where I live...I came here because the FLOW lead me here, thats all! I just saw evil on all sides...I felt the pain . I know of one who left to now just return. Lets not chase away the ones that need this place of refuge. You know this is what this place has become...a shelter for all!
