No, I don't work for the company, or own stock in CCleaner, but I do swear by it as a way to keep my computer from bogging down and getting clogged up with temp files and wayward registry files.
This little program used to be called Crap Cleaner, but I guess in the interest of being politically correct or something, they changed it to the more benign CCleaner.
It's a free program and you can download it and use it right away. The first time my brother tried it he was amazed at how much crap he had on his computer taking up space. I mean, it was hundreds of MB's. There is absolutely NO spyware connected to this program.
Don't be surprised if clicking on "Download Now" takes you to a page that asks you to pay through PayPal. That is completely optional (I have donated a few times, but that's just me) and you don't have to pay to use it. just scroll down and download it from FileHippo. Size: 3.16 MB Cleaning up more MB's than that: Priceless!
