I Did Get All My Meds. Today

  I just hope that my Dr does not leave town again before letting me know. I see her again next month. I was in alot of pain all weekend, and losts of stress. It is Monday , and we are already broke. It makes me feel bad that my husband works so hard, and my meds. cost so much money. For this I do love him.

  I wish could afford medical insurance. With pre-existing condions, it is way too hard to get.

I agree Lee , this is not right for anyone.
For a long time we did not have any insurance .
When I first went on disability I had to pay $400 a mth for cobra ,then I had to drop it you can only charge so much of your premiums. (2yrs wait to get medicare)
Then when my first hubby passed away to keep bcbs $700 a mth that I only kept for couple mths and dropped it.
I think it's horrible that companies can exclude people with pre-existing conditions. Have you tried looking into getting meds directly from the companies that make them? A lot of times, they'll cut the prices dramatically for people who have no health insurance.

This is why I'm for health care reform- public option. It's down right shameful that in the USA we have citizens not being able to afford all their medical care. The financial stress doesn't help matters one bit.

I am not sure WHAT needs to be done, but I do know the SOMETHING needs to be done about health care in the us. My daughter does not have health insurance at all.

I have to order my meds for 3 month at time., hate it when I don't notice I have to get a script for it.. Then it take extra time to get the meds and I run out....

Had a fight with them a couple months ago, they were telling me it was too early to order meds. Said right on the bottle i could order it when I did. Talked to another lady and she said that I could order them then and they would be sent to me the next day.

A lot of the problems are the Druggist, I went to my Dr last week and he gave a new prescription and the girl told me that my Ins. wouldn't cover it., and it was $62.00 ,and then she said let me try something else and she did and Yelled out I got them to pay for it. So if she hadn't been so nice and tried it I would have to paid it. I thank God for nice people.

if you are in Iowa you should be able to get help thru Iowa cares you mite want to check that out. i was on it and they coverd most of my meds. i had to pay a co payment it wasnt that much though.
