California is always ahead of the game. They pass more legistlation to regutlate their citiizens than any state. Why then are they going bust? Too much regulations. This new regulation banning the sale of televisions over 4o inches is so socialistic. Talk about control freaks. It's not as if California hasn't driven itself into debt, and is on the brink of bringing the country to its knees along with itself, has it nothing better to do than take away a few inches of television so the people of California can enjoy fantasy and forget they live in California?
Stupidity!

If someone would make a big screen that is also energy efficient CA would have it made.
I really like thinking when I hear stories like this that I live in a different place in space time than the place where the story came from. :)
Rest assured that you do.
I see that the state GOP is now trying to use the drought to register agricultural workers in the Central Valley. Their "drill, baby, drill" solution there is "open the dams." They're trying to get people to believe that there's a secret stash of water behind the state's dams. Apparently they have insider knowledge about the state's water reserves that hasn't been made public. :)
After all we dont want the government to tell us who can and cant get married and ban some from doing so...right?
Paradoxical Republic is probably more accurate.
