DEA Muzzled: A Step in the Right Direction

Ever so slowly, but surely, the tide is turning toward a rational view of Medical Marijuana.

Good. That was absurd. If something helps a patient deal with pain, it should be far less regulated, and that goes for other medications as well as medical marijuana.

I find it particularly disgusting that doctors are afraid to give terminally ill people heavy duty pain meds because they are worried that the f**king Feds will flag them.
Marijuana should be totally legal, and would be if not for a conspiracy in 1936 between Weyerhauser, Dupont and Hearst to put hemp farmers out of business.

Saw it in the paper this AM. Seems like one small step in the right direction. It ought to save a few tax dollars too.

Not only will it save all the money being pi**ed away in the long ago lost (and impossible to win) 'War on Drugs', but the tax revenues from dispensaries will come rolling in.
In addition, hemp is the perfect crop for "bio-diesel".
AAMOF, Rudolph Diesel ran his prototype engines on hemp oil.

I'm all for easing pain, especially for the terminally ill. I'm so lucky that I haven't had much pain in my life and can't imagine how awful it must be for people that live in pain constantly.
