Search Engines.

I often wonder why people use the things they use.  I use two types of search engines on the Internet.  The main one I use is swagbucks.  I use another one called irazoo as well.

Both of them basically will provide you with the same information you often seek using google, yahoo, msn, ask or some of the other popular main search engine tools.

I decided to use these two as they reward me for using them.  I joined swagbucks around May, 2009, and since I've joined I've earned about $55 is Amazon giftcards in total.

I'm using irazoo as well basically for the same thing the Amazon giftcards.  I tend to use the a variety of websites that reward me in either giftcards or via Paypal, cash or checks.  The primary reason is so that my wife and I don't have to spend money out of our budget for various birthdays/and other type presents that we can use a giftcard for or give the giftcard as a mere gift altogether.

Do you use search engines like google, yahoo, msn, ask? Don't you think it would be wiser to use one that gives something back?

I never knew there were searches in Swagbucks, and I've never signed on to it. I just might do that now. You're always such a reliable source of good information,. Thank you, Henry

I use MyPoints for searches to get extra points.
I should start using that feature. I primarily click on the emails though. But I do like that idea, thanks for the reminder.

Ugh. I emailed mypoints for help because it wouldn't change my email address to my new one. Now my account is frozen. *sigh*. good grief. waiting to hear back from them.
Hope they get it straight for you. I'm like 1500 points away from cashing out for another $25 Amazon giftcard. I'm like 500 points away from cashing out at creationrewards for I think another $10. I'm like 2,000 points away from $5 at irazoo. But the good thing is I'm $140 in my Amazon, now.

i use swagbucks mostly but if i really need info then i use google, they come up with better results

So irazoo works like Swagbucks? I use Swagbucks, but I tend to back it up with Google and Bing. Ask.com is pretty fun to use sometimes also.
Yeah, the difference is you can earn up to 300 points doing searches per day. The minimum cashout is 3,000 points for $5 Amazon, that's basically $15 per month, as long as you do the 300 points per day. It's basically 8 points per search. So 35 searches per day. I've used MyPoints. But I don't do much of that anymore. I discovered that they put too much junk on my computer.

I get so weary of sites and their so called wonderbars.

You don't have to install the toolbar to do the searches. Do 31+ searches a month on their site and you'll get an easy 75 points.
Yeah, but I need the answers to trivia questions, not specific products. LoL! Okay, maybe I could start searching for specific Wii game titles?

I use swagbucks. If I do not get a good result I use Bing.
That's interesting. Bing brings up too many choices in my opinion!

My points puts junk on your computer & I find when I use swagbucks things get slowed way down. I have found a lot of tracking cookies lately but all have been low grade. Good spyware that I have.

I use swagbucks, but honestly, I don't think it is as good as yahoo or google. A lot of times they list sites with the address I want, but when I click, it is an add.
That's not usually the case with me.

I quit using it when irazoo reinstated my account. Now I only use it if irazoo is having technical issues so I have not reached a payout level yet

I use swagbucks but not irazoo. I use my work and home computer and they will not let me. I also use Anywherehomepage.com. It is just like both of these.
How many points do you get with anywhere per day?

I have used swagbucks for several months and have earned I think about 60.00 in amazon. I just joined Irazoo a couple of weeks ago.
Cool, I'm about 2,000 points away from a cashout on Irazoo, no hurry on there for me.

wow, you must have a ton of referrals. I've only earned $60 on my own.

I had a few good referrals that gave me 100 Swag Bucks each, and I still am getting a few referral bucks periodically. Have not gotten any new referrals in months though.

Also, I have been with SB since December 20 last year.
