So, Did The Mouse Wear The Gary Costume? (Photo Essay Answer!)

Yesterday I posted my essay of making the Gary costume (Mousie Halloween (Photo Essay Of The Creation of a MOUSE Halloween Costume) to hopefully be able to enter Gather's pet contest with one of our mice. So, how did that go? Did the mouse wear the costume or not? Read on to find out!

And the answer is.... YES she DID wear the costume! :) She even went in it twice more on her own after I was done with the photos. I think she may like it. :)

haha she's unconventional, but I pride myself on thinking outside of the box. Actually, the Gather pet contest inspired me. I was upset I didn't have traditional pets (cats or dogs) to enter and ruled it out as I didn't think I could make the costume or they would wear it. But I changed my mind and this was the outcome.

I'm working on costumes for my friend's cats and dog too. If I can get them all sewn, that is.

Congrats!! I knew that was a winner when you posted it. I just wondered if gather would see it and they did!! ya! anyone can put a dog in a costume but getting a mouse in one is not so easy

Thanks so much, Angela. I thought for sure she'd be the under-snail since she wasn't as cute or lovable as a cat or dog in most people's eyes.

Clint was surprised she won, too, and Gideon was just plain excited. :)
