And my gather life has suffered as a result! Things got really hectic in TX and after some really BIG issues with the school there (they lost my six year old. Twice.) we made the decision to come back to WA. We drove like hell for forty straight hours to get back in time for the boys to start school on the first day. We made it and they are quite happy to be home. We've been staying with my mom while house hunting and tying up lose ends in TX and that's been challenging. We both have our own ways of doing things and I have an even better grasp now of why adult children shouldn't live with their parents. We've had some fun together too though. :)
We got approved on a house this week and we'll be moving in Tuesday. We're going in this weekend to clean it and painters are going in on Monday to redo the baseboards. Then we're set. We couldn't have found a more perfect house if we tried.
