My Cool Weather Ramble

I am so excited that we are getting a cool front tomorrow. I have been anxiously awaiting this cool blast of air since I heard it was coming at the beginning of the week. Not a cold front, but a cool front (the temperatures will still be in the 70s and 80s). I can't wait to shut off my air conditioner and open the windows. I love the smell of fresh air in the house.

It has been such a looooooong, hot summer. All week long we have had temperatures in the 90s. Records were broken this week. Everywhere I went I heard people saying "Jeez!!!! Isn't it October? What the heck?"

I know. I live in South Florida. It's hot. But by this time of the year, we Floridians are pretty sick and tired of the heat and humidity. I mean, really. 92?!?!?! All week!?!?!? I've been hot for 6 months, lol! Enough!!!

So, I'm sitting here trying to mentally plan my weekend. The cold front won't really be felt until tomorrow evening. My son has a teeball game tomorrow. Ugh. Ugh because of the heat. It will still be hot tomorrow morning. After that (or maybe before), it will rain. For a few hours.

Then.........

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Cooler, drier air!!!!

So, Sunday will be the best day for the cool temps. I think I might take my kids out for a long bike ride through the park. Maybe go play at the playground. Maybe a picnic? Whatever we do, it will be outside enjoying the treat of some cool, dry air.

Maybe it will finally feel like fall here!!!

I hate the cold, but this cool front is welcome to arrive. My brother and his girlfriend just came back from Orlando, and they said it was cold and rainy up there...what rain...I seem to have forgotten what that is.

We are going to the beach tomorrow morning.

I have forgotten what rain is too. :) Although, my flowers could use the rain.

Our cool front has left and now its just cold. But if you don't like the weather in Alabama you need only wait 5 minutes and it will be Summer or Fall again.

I hope you enjoy your cooler weather! I would gladly send you some of the rain we've had for the past two days and will continue to have for the next two! We're lucky, an hour and a half north of us they got 10 inches of snow!

It's kind of cold here. low 60s during the day and 40s at night.

We've had the chill of a cold front all week and it doesn't look like it will warm up until some time next week. Then I'm going up North for a few days and I'll really feel the cold. It's 54 degrees here right now and it's only going up to about 62. Last weekend we were at the beach.
