Where the Wild Things Are is in theatres TODAY!  Chandle rand Stephy have been asking for a couple weeks now to go see the movie when it comes out.  So, hubby and I are going to take the kids to the movies this weekend and watch Where the Wild Things Are.

Chandler has read the book, he loved it!  The kids are SO EXCITED about going, we haven't been to the theatre in ages. LOL!

What are you doing this weekend?

 

Maurice Sendak’s classic book Where the Wild Things Are comes to the big screen in an adventure tale for every generation.  Where the Wild Things Are has beguiled generations of parents and children since its publication in 1963, now it hits the BIG screen!

Your kids are very lucky! We have the book, and the boys have been asking to go see the movie quite a few times as well. If we do go see it, it will be at the drive in though, as it is both cheaper and easier with three kids.

Tonight the kids are watching movies, as we found a bag of dvs and vcr tapes on our patio chair this evening. We suspect it is a lady from down the street, who put them there, but we'll have to go ask tomorrow.

I wish we still had drive ins around here, usedto love going to them as a kid!

can't do much of anything with Janet's bum knee.
The kids are watching "The Little Vampire" right now, and our Chicken n Dumplings just got done a bit ago, so we're eating while we watch a nice Halloween type movie. Tomorrow we're not doing much, then on Sunday, I have a photo shoot, followed by my nephew's 1st birthday party.

Glad you are going....that movie does NOT interest me a bit. Nope. Not at all.

I have a gift card for FAndango (thank you Gather), so I may take Angela to see Fame.

Elliott wants to see it, but I'm fairly certain he's not ready for a movie theater yet. He's still too high energy.

I had heard of the book but didn't read it as a child. Hubby had never even heard of the book before the movie. I'm not sure if we're going to see it or not. We'll probably wait for DVD.

As for what I'm doing this weekend....I'm working. Fun fun.

I so wanted to take my son, this was his favorite book, one day living alone with the kids, he was afraid of the closet, so I went and bought him this book and we clean out the closet one nite and read it, I think I may take my gson, yet this make me miss my son abit more

This is one of my favorite children's books and I really want to go see this movie myself. I have so many great memories that involve this book. I hope Chandler and Stephanie enjoy the movie.
