My four year old son got his first pair of glasses back in march. So today I had to take him to have him checked to see how they were going. He has 20/25 now. Before she had him wear them all the time. Just to see how it helped. Well today she said he is far sided. So he only has to wear them when looking at something close such as books and so on.
She wants him back in 6 months. Because at that time he will have them for a year. She said he might not need that prescription. she said since he is still young. His eyes are changing. something about they can be sitting farther back or forward more. so he can become near sided (make sense?)
My little man has no problem with wearing his glasses. Which we thought he would eventually but so far he likes them :) which is great. we thought we'd have problems (so did the doc) that he wouldn't wear them since his twin brother doesn't need them.
I'm glad he didnt need a stronger prescription. I like his doc she is very nice and great with the boys.
