I wrote an article a few days ago asking you guys "What did my husband do that cheered me up over the weekend?" There were many great answers. Some of them were practical such as, "He rubbed your back," or "He brought you flowers". Some guessed that he told me how wonderful I was, or that I was as beautiful as the day we first met. One suggested that maybe he bought me a bulldog. That one was a little over the edge Vicky. I wouldn't expect any less from you sweetie.
No one guessed the right answer, so I am going to reveal today exactly what he did to brighten up my whole world.
My weekend was very messy with major problems at my workplace. I had been having issues with that place for some time now. Believe me when I refer to it as "that place" it is a step up to what I was calling it yesterday. I wrote an article on the anger I was experiencing and the unethical situations taking place in my workplace after submitting my two week notice and resigning from the position. I let so much anger out that I opted to delete the post so as not to incriminate myself.
Anyway, back to my dear husband.
He came in the house during the weekend with a box in his hands. This box literally set the trains in motion for me to change course in my life. It wasn't so much the box he was holding, but the words he spoke from his mouth that made the difference. He said, "Honey, I think it's time for you to get to work on a new resume." You have no idea how this man made me smile. He just gets me. It's a great feeling to know that there is one person on this entire planet that just GETS YOU.

We haven't had a working printer in our home for over two years now. Mostly because every time I went to the store and had the printer in the back of my mind, I always ended up sacrificing it to make purchases for things my kiddos needed.

That wierd spot where the letters are a little duller is something wrong with my camera. The printer is actually working great.

It's amazing how one little thing that someone can do for you can say so much with so little words. Onward in my journey.

I think yours is pretty good to you also. Men like that are few and far between. That's why I'm holding on to mine with claw marks. ha ha ha ha
And resumes.
Hope you have a great weekend.
(maybe that little smear is what was wrong with my camera...the smear was on the lens)
I was close with my guess on your article about "that place". :-)
