Did anyone know about Swagbucks "other sites?" :-(

I have 46 points (or so I thought) Enough to cash out for an Amazon gift card. When I went to cash out, a flag popped out that I didn't have enough points. My account breakdown showed that I had 40 points for Swagbucks and 6 points on 6 "partner sites" Well, its pretty obvious that these 6 points are worthless! I'm just learning the site and I thought a swagbuck was a swagbuck! My homepage total still shows 46 swagbucks. Don't get me wrong, this is still a fast earner but a little deceptive and more complicated than it needs to be. I'm going to be careful that my bucks are for the original site! Has this happened to anyone?

I did know about it Jane, and I think what happened is that some of the extra bonus codes might have been for the other sites. At least that is what happened in my case, as I have about four or five codes that do not do anything for me either.

I have a couple that are worth anything on Swagbucks, only on the search site itself, in other words, useless to me. I've found out that if you have to go to one of these sites to enter the code word, then the swagbuck is only good on that site. I now avoid doing these.

I wish they would at least tell people about it, its probably buried in the TOS somewhere.

I found that out real early so I just stopped searching for codes except if they were in swagbucks main block only. Sorry you had to learn that way swagbucks in swagbucks is swagbucks but the others go under what ever program they come out of, Prizes can be different in the other search areas.

The same thing happened to me back when I first joined. You might be able to use some of the "extras" to enter sweepstakes on Swagbucks. I was able to get rid of mine that way, except for 1 that doesn't seem to be good for anything.

I can't cash in any of mine... but not for that reason. For some reason swagbucks won't send me the 'verifying' email whenever I request it so I've got 100 swagbucks stuck on the site. It's depressing.
