Thanks, Johnice. You get points from every post and from visiting and commenting on posts. It even helps to upload images. When you go to "My Gather" you will see how many points you have collected.

Oh, I have seen the numbers but they do not appear to reflect my daily comments! So I just ignore them.

Those points will continue adding up. Comments don't accumulate as many points as posting new messages or uploading images. At lease it seems to be that way for me. LOL!

I have a few pay for sites running right now and with all of the hinkie stuff here and there I am able to have fun by jumping around the different sites and mingling with different people on each site!

After nearly one year on Gather I cannot become too attached to one environment--that is stagnating! :)

Hope you got to what you needed.
I have been a little slow at gathering points.
Before I left to Texas the first week of Oct I had cashed out for a starbucks gift card.
# weeks later I am only at 700 points.
Hope to be able to cash out for a paypal soon.
