As most of you know from my last post, I am a BzzAgent doing a campaign for the new Aveeno Nourish + hair care collection. I have been using the Revitalize version and like its ability to revitalize my dry, damaged hair and make it shiny and smooth again, but I still had an itchy, dry scalp, so I decided to give the Nourish + Soothe shampoo a try to see if it provided relief for my itchy scalp. I have used the Soothe shampoo that I recently bought four times so far along with the Revitalize conditioner that came in my Bzz kit. There is no Soothe conditioner available at this time, and I am not sure why. The Soothe shampoo includes a blend of lavender and cooling peppermint that is supposed to calm and refresh an itchy, dry scalp on contact. Since I wash my hair daily, I need a shampoo that is going to moisturize my scalp and keep it healthy, so this sounded like just what I need. When I first tried the shampoo, I did not really feel anything different when I lathered the shampoo into my scalp and hair, but I could smell the peppermint, and it is a nice, soothing fragrance. I expected to feel a tingly, cooling sensation on my scalp, but I did not feel this. However, I have noticed that I have stopped scratching my scalp as much as I did before I started using the shampoo, so it must be helping. The shampoo rinses well like the Revitalize shampoo and does not seem to build up or dry out my hair like other brands. It also had a good texture and a mild refreshing fragrance that is not overpowering and makes my hair smell nice when it is dry. Both the Revitalize and Soothe shampoos seem to work the same as far as nourishing my hair, but I will continue to use the Soothe shampoo until my scalp feels normal again with no itching and dryness at all.
If any of you have tried any of the Aveeno Nourish + shampoos and conditioners, which include the Moisturize, Revitalize, Volumize and Soothe versions, I would love to hear your opinion! Thank you for reading my review.

I did give a sample to one person who gave it to her teenage daughter and she loves the Aveeno product. So I think this was definately a good BzzAgent campaign. :)
