I haven't been on Gather in forever and I totally miss it, but I've been so busy doing other things I haven't had time to even get a hair cut!
Starting in May, things really picked up and got very busy. It really all started around my daughter's first birthday. Then there was a trip up to my parents in NY. Then there was a drive across NY to Binghamton, then on to Buffalo, and then back to my parents. That trip involved a lot of moving and a lot of visiting family and friends.
Sometime in July we went to Nashville for a mini vacation. Then the week after I went back up to NY to work with my dad. I've been doing tons of promotions and working on his website (www.mountainproductssmokehouse.com) and all kinds of other markets and wholesales, etc.
In August, I came back to Philadelphia for a week and then off to Las Vegas for a week. This was my first trip without Ms.Violet. (Which was needed and liked! and of course I missed her.)
A week after I returned from LV, I went BACK to NY to help my parents with a huge tag sale and then helped my dad do the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival. (If I hadn't explained before my dad owns and runs a gourmet smokehouse in NY. He's been doing it since the 1980's but his biz has just grown and grown and grown and I do sales and internet for him from home.)
Anyway, the Garlic Fest was a sucess with some minor glitches. I hope we do it again next year, but we aren't sure we're going to be asked back! We'll see!
Needless to say, my head still feels like it is spinning and I have a huge list of things still to accomplish. I am half way to my goal of getting enough money to get into grad school and really hope that this holiday season picks up enough to let me do that.
We just started another website called (www.bacongrams.com) which will hopefully get me the rest of the way there. ..

I'm not entirely certain that I want to know what a "bacongram" is. A "tempehgram" is a bit more my speed. ;-)
