President Obama is making his first official presidential visit to New Orleans and he's managed to tick off pretty much the entire Mississippi Gulf Coast because he is ignoring the area.
If you were to look at the path of Hurricane Katrina, you will see that it directly hit Mississippi and NOT New Orleans. In fact, what happened in N.O. was a man-made problem that occurred with the age-old levies broke the day after the storm hit. As a MS coast native, we are once again shunned by the news media and even the President when it comes to Katrina.
It's a damn shame to see a natural disaster that affected millions of people turn into a political mess.
Kanye West said that George Bush doesn't care about black people. I guess Obama doesn't care about Mississippians. Could it be because he didn't win this state in his election?
