I'm currently reading a book about Mary, Queen of Scots, and the murder of Lord Darnley. If ever there was a tragic figure, it is Mary, Queen of Scots. I've always sort of held her in contempt, all while feeling a slight bit of sympathy for her, but the more I learn about her life the more that sympathetic part of me takes over. I'm anxious to get to the events between Mary and Bothwell and see how this book further changes my opinion.
I'm thinking after I read the Mary book I'll start in on my husband's Anne Perry novels. He's really gotten into them as of late and I'd like to see what they're like. I've also been alternating novels with my historical books. My goal is to read my entire Elizabethan/Tudor/English history collection, which is getting to be quite massive, a fact I'm very thrilled with.
So there you have it - my book list. What's everyone else reading at the moment, and how are you doing on your reading thus far this year?

I've read the Twilight Saga also, and recently finished Dead Until Dark. I didn't have the second book and my mother bought it for me for my birthday that's coming up, but she is being evil and won't let me actually have it until my birthday!
Maybe I should make a post of my readings also. Sounds like fun to keep track of and perhaps find common interest with others on Gather.
Did you buy Lost Symbol? I am still waiting for it to come in at the local library.
