I don't mind seeing couples holding hands or a quick kiss. But I don't want to see more than that regardless if the couple is gay or straight.

It doesn't matter to me who it is, gay, straight, or sky blue pink. I feel that some things are private. I don't mind seeing hand holding or hugging and kissing....but anything more than that is private between two people....just my opinion.

I don't care whether it's a gay couple at all. I think it's pretty cool myself, but if it's to the point where heavy breathing is involved, get a room. Straight or gay or both.

It depends on the amount, regardless of gender. I have a gay female couple at the end of my road that live in these apt and all they do i think is make out. They sit out on the porch and kiss, grossly... It was ok the first few times but I really think every time I have drove by seance they moved in I have seen them doing it, its the talk of the town. They are not very attractive ppl. Its sick.

I guess iy depends on what and where. I have seen some pretty outrageous acts in and outside of bars and clubs. But that was at night and some of it was fascinating to see how far people will go in a public setting.

You wouldn't believe the stuff that's going on on dance floors these days. You can only imagine what I've seen at a local swingers club that a friend of mine owns...(NO, I'm no swinger but I was curious.)

Oh I'd believe what goes on. I'd be curious too of a swingers club but I don't think I could ever go in one, not that curious or that brave. What if I saw somebody I knew or they saw me? :)

I don't mind the usual either Vickie but when it gets hot and heavy in the middle of the mall or a restaurant or club; so much so that you'd think they were actually do it there then I do have objections.

I have four cousins that are gay/lesbian and I would feel the same way about gays as I would about anyone else that was being crude or crass with their public signs of affection.

Whether it's gay or straight, I think some displays of affection are fine but anything more than holding hands or a quick kiss or an arm around the shoulder. But more than that should be private expressions not public displays.

Well, that is unless I see Sean Connery walking down the street. ;)

I honestly believe that some people forget where they are when doing some of the things that they do.

Oh and as for Sean Connery ~ would that be unless you were hand in hand with him and making out in the middle of the mall that that would be ok right? ;p

I don't mind the G rated stuff, but the R rated stuff in front of my kids makes me made. I have a 3 and 4 year, I just don't want to answers those questions yet. It makes no differ if it is same sex or stright, it just all leads to questions

well I think it is the most natural wonderful thing to see two people sharing public affection...I love to hold hands and kiss and maybe even get a squeeze or pinch from my man. I will be the first to do the same. But if I want to do more I will be more discreet about it. and those that don't want to watch can just look the other way and say what ever they want. Its my life and I live it the way I want with no regrets!

I regard overt x-rated displays as an insult to those who have not asked to be an audience, regardless of who is doing it. It is exhibitionism plain and simple and is telling everyone that there is something lacking in the person engaged in the performance. It is a form of mental illness.

Public displays of love don't bother me unless it is groping private parts. I don't care if your straight, gay, old or young....it is usually the younger crowd that gross me out. I love seeing an elderly couple still holding hands.

Groping isn't seen that much around here. The big deal here is people having intercourse with their clothes on that is so obscene that you just want to scream when you see it.

I am rather fond of seeing older couples being romantic and holding hands too.

Depends upon what you deem public displays of affection or public displays of foreplay, and where in public they are.

I've never had a problem with couples holding hands, although when I first encountered couples of the same sex doing it, I was shocked--I hadn't ever seen it before and my first reaction was ewww. I moved to the San Fransisco area and became accustomed and it doesn't phase me any more. A couple is a couple.

Where I have problems is Public displays of foreplay--passionate kissing and heavy petting in a restaurant, or sitting in front of me at a movie theater. Somewhere little kids can see. If I'm walking in a relatively secluded area, such as a beach, or trail in a park, or while hiking, I generally shrugged and change direction.

It all depends upon time and place.

I have straight friends and I have gay friends. I don't want to see any of what any of them do behind closed doors brought out into the open. Certain things are meant to be private although pretty soon I think that word will be taken out of the dictionary as not too many things are "private" anymore! Whatever became of leaving a little mystery in a relationship? A relationship should be between two people, not you, me, them and they!
