Clouds in gathering convention, migrating by
Drift in, drift out sunshine, wanting early shut eye
And the crayon box comes alive, vibrant shadows
Parachutes, some in synonym, cool downwind flight
Slowing down, mellow bed and breakfast, laying down
Looking for glimpse of bluest sky, warmth, happiness
Breathing in and out the changes, celebrate signs
Fashion statement coniferous, brazen displays
Wind blast, wind task tailoring silhouette, stark gray
But these darkened nights, foggy blanket, past lamplights
Tradition, customs mix and blend, trick the treat wins
Cinnamon, pumpkin pie, bobbing apples float by
Earthy warm simple style, welcome guests and chestnuts
Rushing speed Autumnal, hear breeze, warm blanket
Chimney smoke signaling, starry night, cold thin air
Bare bough, bare branch, awaiting almost there, somewhere
Telephone lines paint sky, searching key signature
Young child’s smile, diamonds fall to earth, inner pleasure
Gracefully this miniature world, starlit blessed
Widening eyes in awe, fleeting innocence, so missed
Still imagining imagination so kissed
Learning the unending, days changing, shifting why
Thoughts on paper, beauty of ideas explores, finds
And joy overflowing within, inside, without
Need I, need you, need togetherness, quietly now
Empathy sharing dreams, snow melts like tenderness
Love the moment, love the season, drift into bliss
Of diamonds falling, from Angel's breath, cold night sky
Supplies just you and I, synonyms in the mist,

I always love it when the crayon box comes alive !!!
So peaceful and so colorful.
I can see Autumn when I read it.
Thank you for the beauty........
Thanks for posting to my group, Anythingwriting
You are in luck because I saw your name in the tea leafs or maybe it was in the vegetable soup. So I said, 'What's in store for Wilma?' I just wanted to know the state of saddle shoes in your new fashion statement. However, no such info was related, and now I have hesitated because I guess you should know you are going to get lots and lots and lots of snow. Hurrah!!!
