Witches Like Spelling

Introduction

This is mostly a Halloween slideshow with some jokes thrown in.

I am submitting this to Yesterday's Gold because I believe that the two witch poems are a century old or more. I think that they come from very old postcards. Either that or they are very old decorations. I thought that the poems were cute. I have no idea who wrote the poems. They appear to be anonymous.

Wow! Those are great. Isn't it a shame that Halloween has become just another commercialized money-maker? It's lost all the glamor of the era of your photos. Kids today grab all the candy they can and their parents allow it. We leave out house dark and go out to dinner on Halloween night. I can't afford the $40 it cost the last time we stayed home and we had to shut the light off because the older kids started coming later in the evening.
